Jayapura — A new light of hope shines for the children of Papua through the establishment of the Integrated People’s School 75, a symbol of progress and equal opportunity in education. This school embodies a shared commitment to ensuring that every Papuan child, regardless of their background, can learn, grow, and dream freely.
Under the leadership of Abigael Alami, the school welcomed 100 new students this academic year—50 in elementary and 50 in junior high school—coming from various districts across Papua, including Jayapura City. For many families, this marks a turning point in making education more accessible and inclusive.
“This school is not just a place for learning; it is a space where dreams are nurtured and hope is renewed for the young generation of Papua,” said Abigael with optimism.
With strong support from the Papua Industrial Training Center (BLKI), the school currently operates in a temporary location, providing children with a safe and conducive learning environment.
The Papua Provincial Government has also pledged its full support. Assistant for Government Affairs, Yohanes Walilo, emphasized that the Integrated People’s School 75 is part of a broader strategic effort to strengthen Papua’s human resource development. “We are committed to ensuring that facilities, teachers, and other supports continue to improve, allowing this school to grow and empower the next generation,” he stated.
Through collaboration and shared vision, the Integrated People’s School 75 stands as a beacon of change — bringing quality education closer to Papua’s children and inspiring confidence that every child has the right to learn, dream, and succeed.
